Burgundy Wedding Inspiration
It's the Wednesday of the last week of the month, which means it's
time for Dress to be WEDnesday! Since February is all about love, red and
variations of red have been everywhere this month; Dress for The Wedding has been showing several red looks
on Dress For The Wedding, so we'll close out the month with one more!
This month's color is Burgundy or Wine, and KristynJennifer of KristynJennifer Events -LiveEventfully has chosen it for a special reason. My boyfriend's sister is getting married
soon and has selected this burgundy wine hue as one of her wedding
colors. In honor of her, we present some burgundy wedding inspiration!
As
usual, Dress for the Wedding and I have pinned some inspiring images on Pinterest. Be sure
to follow Kristyn, and if you're planning a Burgundy wedding
too, check out this board filled with Burgundy ideas.
Burgundy
is such a versatile color, and like wine, it has quite a range: it
can go from a dusty dark purple, to a reddish-brown, or a deep, dark red.
Personally, my favorite is when all of these are mixed together like in the
bouquet of calla lilies above. To show the range of hues and dress styles
available, here are 4 of Dress for the Wedding's picks for bridesmaid dresses. If you haven't
discovered Weddington
Way yet, head on over there; they show bridesmaids dresses
by color which--for visual people like me-- is such a helpful way to shop. # of
the picks below are available through them!

Since Sukey from Dress for the Wedding, didn't style a complete look like she often does, She has also included some other
accessories that will carry this wine-colored theme through for the
groom and groomsmen, and even the into invites and table decor. This color
is a natural for a rustic or romantic themed wedding as well as anything with
wine theme or winery venue as a backdrop. It can be accented with black, gold,
silver, or a range of other deep reds.

February, join me in raising this bit of wine-colored inspiration and wishing
our very best blessings to our bride-to-be!
